Capsule FAQ
What is included in each capsule?
Each capsule includes a privacy curtain, personal light, power outlet, shelf, fan and a locker with key provided. No padlock is needed. Capsules are freshly prepared before check-in, and towels are free for direct reservations.
Can I request a lower capsule?
Yes, you can request an upper or lower capsule when booking directly. Requests are subject to availability and can only be confirmed at check-in.
Are the dormitories mixed?
Yes, our shared dormitories are mixed. We offer a calm environment, welcome many solo female travellers, and have a team member on site 24/7, plus an emergency WhatsApp number if needed.
Is there a luggage storage?
Yes, we can store your luggage before check-in from 08:00 and after check-out until 23:00. Guests are also welcome to use the common areas before check-in and after check-out.
Is Urban Garden a party Hostel?
No. We are a social hostel, but not a party hostel. We aim to offer a calm and comfortable base in central Porto. Quiet hours apply after 23:00.
Can I park my bike?
Yes, you can park your bike safely at the back of our garden. The area is closed at night and monitored by CCTV.
Is there a car park?
Yes, there is a private car park about 150m from the hostel, with 24h security and electric charging stations.
